El Dorado is a brand produced by Demerara Distillers in Guyana. Guyana’s aging process is thought to have increased considerably due to high humidity and constant temperature- resulting in an 8-year-old Roma; for example, having a maturity that is claimed to be equal to that of a 16-year-old produced in lower temperature. The 25-year-old El Dorado is one of those extraordinary expressions; created especially for connoisseurs in the harvest year with the best quality sugar cane; which withstands long maturation. The assortment distilled in 1988 and aged in refilled American barrels displays a particularly elegant character. Color: Intense amber. Bouquet: Bouquet intensely flavored, caramel notes, fruit cake; wood, vanilla, spices, pecans and fig syrup. Taste: Rich aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and cinnamon; complemented by accents of Turkish dessert, nuts and chocolate.
