El Dorado is a brand produced by Demerara Distillers in Guyana. Guyana’s aging process is thought to have increased considerably due to high humidity and constant temperature- resulting in an 8-year-old rum, for example, with a maturity that is claimed to be equal to that of a 16-year-old produced in lower temperature. El Dorado 12 years displays a complex bouquet, described by tropical fruits; spices, honey and brown sugar, a splendid taste, dominated by caramelized apple; juicy plums, dark chocolate, coffee and spices. El Dorado 15 years reveals an intriguing and complex character, unlike any other assortment of rum in the same class; which is why it has been voted for years as the best rum in the world. We are dealing with a complex blend of selected and aged rum in bourbon barrels up to 25 years; taste: aromas of tropical fruits, honey, gingerbread and woody notes. 21-year-old El Dorado combiness aged rum in oak barrels for at least 21 years; distilled into three types of stills. Its taste carries a special elegance, combinesng fruity aromas with vanilla; coffee and oak accents, leading to a fine spicy aftertaste.
