Ferghettina Franciacorta Rose Brut DOGC is a Franciacorta Nonvintage (NV) made of 100% Pinot Noir. Franciacorta is Italian champagne. Casa Franciacorta is located in the province of Brescia in Lombardy. It received DOCG status in 1995. The varieties allowed are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. Like champagne and unlike Prosecco, Franciacorta is produced by the traditional method. Color: bright light pink. Bouquet: very fresh and elegant, with delicate notes of raspberries, berries and almonds. Taste: of great freshness and elegance. It is fine and velvety, with persistent pearl. It has a firm structure, sprinting acidity leading to the long, persistent end. > Number of bottle produced: 45,000 750 ml, and 1000 Magnum (1.5 l) . Franciacorta product family: Franciacorta Nonvintage (NV) – that is, produced from grapes for many years. It may be put up for sale at least 25 months after harvest, of which 18 months are spent on yeast (as opposed to 15 months in the case of champagne). Franciacorta Satèn – produced only from Whitegrapes (predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc – max 50%). It is famous for its velvety taste and finer pearl. These characteristics are due to the pressure of less than 5 atmospheres in the glass, compared to the 6 atmospheres used in the other assortments Franciacorta Rosé must contains a minimum of 35% Pinot Noir and a maximum of 50% Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc. Franciacorta Millesimato or Vintage – that is, produced from a only one. It can be placed on the market at least 37 months after harvest, 30 of which are spent on yeast (just like champagne).
