Old Ballantruan The Peated Malt A Single Malt with a 50% alcohol concentration, distilled in Speyside, Scotland, not cold filtered. It has a smoky smell, balanced with subtle floral and mineral notes. The aromas of peaches and ripe pears are finely mixed with those of honey. The texture is silky. The aromas of lemon and ginger appear gradually, after each tasting. Being a strong drink, above the average of other whiskeys, it can be drunk with water, but there are few who recommend this.
