Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

To honor the 20 years of activity of the master in mixtures Alexandre Gabriel; Plantation company created an XO rum from old batches, matured in Barbados and France. The Plantation 20th Anniversary blend consists of rum initially matured in bourbon barrels, which are subjected to a second aging in small cognac barrels, made of French oak wood. The second maturation takes place over a period of about a year and a half at the Château de Bonbonnet. The design of the bottleis remarkable, intuiting the aromatic profile of the drink. Color: Amber. Bouquet: Intense notes of caramel, vanilla, cherries and cinnamon, complemented by subtle accents of coconut and flambéed bananas. Taste: A balanced mix of oak, dark chocolate, candied oranges, tobacco leaves and a little pepper.
