Irishman founder’s reserve is an Irish whiskey blend of 70% single malt and 30% single pot still. Obtained by the triple distillation method, it is aged in bourbon barrels. This Irish whiskey is a truly delicious, complex and lively spirit. It is more than a dream come true for the founder of the distillery, Bernard Walsh. Founder’s Reserve displays an excellent aromatic balance and a special roundness. These characteristics justify the many prizes won by the assortment over time. The multi-faceted bouquet is due to the fact that this Scottish blend contains only whiskey distilled in a pot-type copper still, no grain whiskey or whiskey distilled in a still with a column. Color: amber. Bouquet: reveals light spices, but also a strong air of copper, red fruits, and a note of green apple. The enchanting aroma of this irish greets us with notes of cinnamon oil, dried fruit and light shades of mushroom earth. Taste: rich aromas of well-ripened fruit, dark chocolate and caramel, bathed in waves of cinnamon and vanilla. In this whiskey we find a great balance between taste and a slightly oily feeling.
