Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough It is a wine from the wild and rocky soils of Marlborough. Bouquet: has fresh aromas of Whitepeach; pale lemon straw with a green tinge; fresh green herbs; bush of black currants and wet river stones. Taste: a wonderful fruit kernel, rich in citrus and apples. It is balanced with fine acidity for a soft but pleasantly dry finish. When Captain James Cook and Sir Joseph Banks made their first major voyage in 1769, they encountered the coast of New Zealand, a wild rock formation, clearly seen from big. Banks soon discovered a rich land of birds and plants with rich soils, admirably cultivated for cultivation by native Maori, blessed by the sun and rivers of water. His collections and plant descriptions formed the basis of the modern study of botany in New Zealand. Referring to Captain Cook’s initial impression of New Zealand, Wild Rock labels incorporate those drawings of flora and fauna chronicled by Cook and Banks into this initial exploration.
