To achieve perfect taste, 23-year-old Zacapa Centenario rum is aged on the tops of Guatemala’s mountains; where strong air slows down the maturation process, and atmospheric pressure intensifies the infusion of flavors from the walls of the barrels. The blend is composed of rums aged between 6 and 23 years, using the Solera method. Each drop of rum goes through each type of barrel to create the perfect blend. The result is a unique rum, of exceptional quality, appreciated in all corners of the world. Color: Copper. Bouquet: The bouquet is dominated of woody notes, dried fruit and caramel, borrowed during maturation in barrels of whiskey, sherry and Pedro Ximenez wine. Captivating notes of caramel, vanilla, pralines, caramelized Brazil nuts, cocoa beans, ripe bananas and dehydrated pineapple. Taste: A splendid aromatic profile, dominated by aromas of raisins, apricots, vanilla, oak, nutmeg, tobacco leaves, coffee, ginger and cinnamon, with a viscosity rarely found in a mature assortment.
