Alpha Estate Sauvignon Blanc

Alpha Estate Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Amyndeon plateau; the Amyndeon wine-growing area; in northwestern Macedonia; “Copii” and “Alpheta” subregions of 69ha of linear, private vineyard, located at an altitude of 620-710m. Vinification method: Skin contact for many hours, depending on the evaluation of winemakers, controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with cooling jackets, maintenance of the wine “sur lies” for four months with regular shaking. Color: Bright, light yellow color, with greenish hues. Buchet: strong and lively nose, typical Sauvignon Blanc, suggesting currants, passion fruit, melon, lychee with a hint of honeysuckle. Taste: Round and soft to taste, quite fat balanced, though, with much finesse. Crispy and well-structured, reminiscent of nose aromas with a hint of lime. A richly textured wine, with superb length and balance. An elegant wine with a long finish and persistent aromas. Serving temperature best at 12 ° C. Culinary combinations : Alpha Estate Sauvignon Blanc perfectly accompanies a wide range of “fruit de mer” dishes, grilled fish, oriental gastronomy and pasta.
