Intense ruby red. Intense and complex, consistent and fruity, with hints of chocolate and cherries kept in brandy. Sumptuous if persistent finish. Elegant and sophisticated bouquet, characterized by sweet cocoa scents and roasted coffee beans. The best grapes from the “Campo Inferi” vine are harvested by hand in early October and then left to dry for 4 months, at controlled temperatureand humidity. Long fermentation at low ambient temperature for about 40 days. Matured for 36 months in 18 hl oak barrels and then 6 months in glass.
