Argiano Brunello di Montalcino is aged for 4 years; of which two and a half years in oak; a year in French barrels, for the structure; for at least two and a half years in large barrels in Slavonia, to tame the concentrated aromas of the fruit. Before being put on sale, it is aged for 6 months in glass.
