Billecart Salmon Cuvee Nicolas Francois 1998 This exceptional cuvée – Billecart Salmon Cuvee Nicolas Francois – was created in 1964 as a tribute to the founder of the House. It results from the Grands Crus blend from the Côte des Blancs (Chardonnay) and Montagne de Reims (Pinot Noir) vineyards. Its vinification, partly in traditional oak barrels, is the basis of the generous character of this fine, elegant and rich wine. Cuvee Nicolas Francois Billecart from 1998 (60% Pinot, 40% Chardonnay) is an extraordinary wine. The aromas are particularly captivating and very suggestive for Pinot and Chardonnay which occupies a central place on the palace, where the fruit is extremely expressive. Strong floral and spicy notes complement the ripe aromas of oranges, pears and apples with honey. The taste has a series of aromas of orchards and fruits. The impressively long finish has a fascinating note.
