Billecart Salmon Cuvee Nicolas Francois 2000 This exceptional cuvée was created in 1964 as a tribute to the founder of the House. It results from the Grands Crus blend from the Côte des Blancs (Chardonnay) and Montagne de Reims (Pinot Noir) vineyards. Its vinification, partly in traditional oak barrels, is the basis of the generous character of this fine, elegant and rich wine. 60% Pinot Noir from Premiers and Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims regions and Grande Vallée de la Marne 40% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs Color: a wonderful color of shiny yellow gold covered with bright golden reflections. Bouquet: fine notes of stone fruit (Whitepeach, nectarine, plum) refined by the purity of the complex aromas of tangerine peel.
