Oprisor La Cetate Cabernet Sauvignon

The cultivation of the calf in Mehedinți is a fact proved by writings that go back to us during the earthly boyars from Oltenia; which had cultures, wineries and wines that became part of the legends of the place. The wines from Oprișor have found their place in the modern period as well. In August 1994, the Carl Reh Trading Company was established in Romania; with the specific purpose of selecting Romanian wines for the international market, and in June 1997, the division was established in Oprișor; making the decision to produce their own wines from grapes coming from the existing plantations at that time in the Oltenian vineyards of Mehedinți. Color: Dark red, close to the color of black currants. Bouquet: In the case of the most pretentious and lively red variety cultivated in Mehedinți; the scent cannot be other than that of black fruits, complemented by coffee (beans) . Taste: Velvety body, with earthy nuances, quickly conquered by currants and espresso. Culinary combinations: Excellent with pork and game dishes. Serving temperature 16 – 18 ° C
