Dalamara Naoussa Bio

Dalamara Winery is a boutique winery, with a history dating back to 1840. Today the winery is run by Kostis Dalamara; a young but remarkably talented oenologist; prepared in Burgundy; which represents the 6th generation of a family of oenologists. Kostis and his wife; Maria Doulgeridou, cultivates approximately 6 ha of grapes grown organically in the Naoussa region. Dry red wine, typical of the Naoussa region; made from grapes from different plots: via Paliokalias is 10-20 years old; via Vados is 31 years old, via Gastra is 13 years old and via Trilofos is 40 years old. Color: pale red Bouquet: aromas of fresh red fruits, such as red cherries, strawberries and plums but also subtle notes of ripe tomatoes Taste: medium body and ripe tannins, which are undoubtedly presentsand will ensure the potential of aging wine; pleasant and persistent aftertaste; with spicy and fruity notes, the wine can be consumed now but will certainly evolve in a positive way as a result of aging in the glass; Culinary combinations: lamb-based preparations such as steaks or stews; sausages, grilled beef and broomed cheeses; such as Cheddar cheese Serving temperature 16º-18ºC.
