Chateau Mouton Rothschild Paulliac 2002 The weather in 2002 was warmer and less humid than average, especially in the first half of the year. An exceptional Indian summer from August 27 to October 9 allowed the grapes to ripen in exceptional conditions. The harvest was small due to the drought, but potentially of very good quality. Harvest period: September 30 to October 10 Color: red charming, clear and sparkling ruby, of remarkable intensity. Bouquet: which opens with generous animal notes, then develops fruit aromas: blackberries and blackcurrants, combinesng an elegant oak aroma with a hint of minerality. Taste: dense and rich, firm, refined and well-rounded tannins. The palate reveals a strong structure and a beautiful balance between fruit and oak, displaying a perfect harmony between the notes of mocha, blackcurrant and cherry liqueur, which lead to a long and stylish finish.
