Prince Stirbey Merlot Rezerva

The appreciation of the Prince Stirbey winery for the humanitarian projects and charitable activities of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta in Romania has long met with the appreciation of Count Franz Alfred Hartig; The Ambassador of the Order in Bucharest, for the wines from Dragasani. It is a wine produced from the best Merlot grapes from Stirbey. They were picked and selected manually. The wine is carefully vinified, reducing the technical interventions to a minimum, keeping the character of the grapes from the vine, typical for this variety and for the Terroir from Dragasani. pulled in Romanian oak barrels of which a third new barrels. It is aged for a period of 18 months and bottle without fine filtration. Bouquet: an elegant and well-balanced wine; a bouquet of ripe blackberries and plums, skin tones, cinnamon and coffee beans. Taste: texture of fine tannins; aromas of black pepper and bitter chocolate that give the wine a persistent, deep and long body; a perfect balance between texture, acidity and flavors.
