Kir-Yianni Ramnista

Ramnista is the favorite wine of the friends of the Naoussa Xinomavro variety and one of its spearheads. Full, complex, tannic, it is a strong wine, which imposes respect and happily accompanies any meat-based meal. From Kir-Yianni, of course! Vinification: The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand before being crushed. After pre-fermentation for 4 days at 8-10C, the must goes through vinification for 12-15 days, at controlled temperature. Both French and American oak barrels are used, new oak up to 15%, and 40% of 500 lt. It is very easy to filter. Vineyard: Selected lots from the vineyards of Yianakohori Aging: 16 months in 225L and 500L French oak barrels and American, for 90% of the mixture. The remaining 10% is matured in the tank. The aging of the bottlecontinues for another 6 months.
