Domeniile Prince Matei – Red Paradox Merlot

Like the name, this wine is a paradox because, although it is a blend of the last years of Merlot production (a proportion Merlot 2018 is also important), a young wine, it has the strength and fulfillment of the Merlot from Dealu Mare from which the famous Prince Matei is made. The wine is aged for about 6 months in French-style barrique. Color: a ruby-red wine with purple highlights. Bouquet: cherry-dominated flavor, followed by more ripe fruit tones and discreet notes of coffee, spice and wood. Taste: Intense, with a strong body, good texture and balanced tannins. Culinary Associates: Red meat, small game or feathered game. Ripe cheeses and dark chocolate desserts also pair perfectly with Red Paradox. Serving temperature 15-17 ° C.
