One of the most popular and probably the most awarded international label for PDO Santorini. Enjoying this wine you will “feel” at every sip the sea and the sun of Santorini Island. An incredibly robust Whitewine. Grape varieties: Assyrtiko 100% Classification: Santorini Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Aromatic nose, with citrus fruits and minerality. The mineral taste is obvious on the palate, as a result of the unique terroir of Santorini. Quite “austere” like wine, the acidity being its backbone, allowing it to age. Notes of oil and honeysuckle appear in aged Assyrtiko wines, similar to German and Alsatian Riesling wines. Vinification: Typical Whitevinification. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature , green salads, seafood salads, Whitemeat with light sauces, but never without food. Served at 10-11C.
